City Economic Development Home Run
Congratulations to the city of Richardson for a big win in the IQ! In late August the City announced a consortium led by AT&T and Verizon will establish a 5G interoperability lab in the new Richardson Innovation Quarter (IQ). This initiative will be funded by a State of Texas $42 million Chips Act grant and will be co-located with the University of Texas at Dallas in the Richardson IQ HQ building on Collins Road.
This lab has great potential to draw many new high-tech businesses to Richardson, further enhancing our technology brand that all began with the Telecom Corridor.
