Richardson Reaffirmed for Highest Bond Rating
Millions Saved by Lowest Interest Costs
Both the Moody’s and Standard and Poor’s credit rating agencies have reaffirmed Richardson’s “Triple A” status, the highest possible rating available for credit worthiness. Richardson has held AAA status from Standard and Poor’s for ten years in a row, and Aaa rating from Moody’s for the last eight years.

Richardson residents should be proud of the excellent financial health, due in large part to great fiscal stability and management of our city. Maintaining the highest bond rating has saved the city millions of dollars by providing access to the lowest interest rate possible in financing the city’s bond programs and will continue to do so.
